The Cart Shed 

Built in 1710 to house the Squire’s carts, this historic barn has been beautifully restored to create a unique and versatile events space. Steeped in character yet finished with contemporary elegance, it provides a rustic backdrop with a refined edge.

Polished concrete floors, soaring Douglas Fir beams, and antique carts suspended from the ceiling set the tone for an unforgettable gathering. Bi-folding glass doors open directly onto the courtyard, where guests can spill out to enjoy views across Strang Manor Farm and the Chalke Valley.

For larger celebrations, a stretch tent can be added to the side of the barn — the perfect way to extend your event with a dedicated dining or entertainment space beneath soft lighting. The barn also features a TV and audio sound system, making it equally suited for private talks, meetings, or presentations. When it’s time to celebrate, the space can be cleared to create a generous dance floor — ideal for a lively barn dance or party atmosphere.

A fully stocked bar with draught taps is available inside, and the barn is equipped with an accessible entrance and toilet, ensuring comfort and ease for all your guests.

Take The Stalls experience on the road. Whether it’s a relaxed garden party, festival-style wedding, or countryside feast under the stars, our off-site catering brings the same flair, flavour and finesse to any location. Our portable open-fire BBQ allows us to cook over flames wherever the mood takes you, while our mobile draught tap pours fresh beer and cider straight from the source. We provide crockery, cutlery, cups, and full-service staff, so you can relax and enjoy the day.

In 2026 we’re launching our very own coffee and cocktail van — think our signature flat whites and espresso martinis, served with a smile wherever your celebration is.
