At the heart of The Stalls is our beautifully restored 18th-century barn - a warm, characterful space that moves effortlessly from ceremony to celebration. Originally built in 1710 to house the Squire’s carts, the barn has been thoughtfully reimagined with contemporary comfort while retaining its historic soul.
The Space
Polished concrete floors, soaring Douglas Fir beams, and antique carts suspended from the ceiling create a setting that feels both rustic and refined. Bi-fold glass doors flood the barn with natural light and open directly onto the courtyard.
How it works on the day
The barn hosts your ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening celebrations, with a stretch tent seamlessly adjoining the space for dining and drinks. As night falls, the barn transforms into an atmospheric dance floor.

'The Stalls Cafe brought to life our dream wedding. Having planning meetings with Maggie allowed us to share our vision, and how we wanted the day to go. On the day, the staff were very helpful, and also helped with the set up. Whether it’s an elegant three-course sit-down dinner, a relaxed open-fire BBQ, or a stylish evening of canapés and cocktails. Our team can also look after your Day Two celebrations or the all-important wedding morning breakfast. Think fresh fruit platters, buttery pastries and continental favourites, delivered straight to your accommodation so you can relax and enjoy your morning with loved ones.
